Alien Germaphobe

Well it's been a loooong time since I last uploaded anything, and I've been kind of dead lately, but no more!

This is a character for a personal project of mine, this guy's name is Alki, I've poured all of my fears and phobias into one character. He is most prominently a strong germaphobic, though, and never goes into a battle without his giant, environmentally sealed, powered-armor (mainly because of how scared he is of getting dirty and "germy" in the outside world)

Gotta start posting more animations, just a quicky of me saying "what" (still not done yet)

Phoenix Animatic Crapster-piece

I might try and refine this and make it actually look good in the future because it's for an actual story I want to get going.

oh boy

This is the first unplanned drawing I've made in quite some time and I'm pretty glad with the way it looks. I need to practice like this more often.

Gets me every time

I seriously miss the absurdity and slapstick humor that old cartoons held. It's lamentable how bad most modern quality cartoons are.

Character sheets of sci-fi story

This is the primary villain, having been infected with a flesh-crystallizing virus, those inhibitors in his back slow the spread of the disease.

This is another mercenary in the crew and she's technically mentally insane as well as being a fool for weaponry, carrying any number of stabby, shooty things on her.

This is the stereotypical new guy to the crew, he basically trains directly under the captain of the ship and serves as a big story element in humanizing the main character.

This is the scientist/ engineer/ mechanic who works with the main character, I had a major design overhaul on this guy.

This is the most primary character from the story, an experienced mercenary who now holds an immense grudge towards the villain.

Oh my god! A drawing!

So I recently started working on the character style for my project in Intermediate Animation, and after about 4 iterations, this is where I'm at on 2 of the characters now. I looked more towards German Expressionism and artists like Mike Mignola for inspiration (I love the really angular design)

Anyway, I did this several days ago now and I'm not entirely satisfied at this point, I want to simplify them still, but I feel like it's detracting from their overall character when I do.
